Enterprise Europe Network Ireland are hosting a decentralised training event for Enterprise Europe Network colleagues on the Innovation Health Check tool on Tuesday 13 December 2016 - Dublin.
The Innovation Health Check (IHC) tool was developed in-house by Enterprise Ireland's Competitiveness, Lean Business and Benchmarking Department. It has been used extensively by EEN Ireland's Key Account Managers and their interactions with successful Irish SME Instrument applicants.
The IHC tool consists of a structured questionnaire which is broken down into 6 sections. Each section has both practical and performance related questions. The first 3 sections relate to Innovative Business and the next 3 relate to Innovate Environment.
To find out more attend this one day event taking place on Tuesday 13 December 2016 at Enterprise Ireland’s offices, East Point Business Park, Dublin 3.
It is essential that everyone using the Innovation Health Check (IHC) apply the tool and techniques consistently to protect the integrity the data captured and the tool itself, consequently we require that all who wish to use the IHC undergo a short training workshop.
The workshop will cover the following;
• IHC & the EEN
• Brief background on the tool development.
• Understanding the benchmarking process
• Understanding the questionnaire
• Gathering the input data through a facilitated process / understanding the purpose & value of the facilitated process
• Understanding & using the excel model – inputting the data & producing a report
• Future development plans for the tool.
Please note: There is no fee for the training, you will be required to look after your own travel, accommodation and associated costs.
To reserve your place please complete the Registration Form below.
Enterprise Ireland are happy to share the Innovation Benchmarking Tool and Techniques and it will be free to use on the basis that captured data is returned. The returned data will be included in the tool to expand and strengthen the comparison group and keep the Innovation Tool current. Also as the data builds and the tool evolves it is expected that it will be possible to select a comparison group by sector, country etc.
At present the tool is a stand alone model and fresh site tools will be issued to users as and when it is updated. The long term view is that there will be an online version of this tool. We give assurance on data confidentiality, all data collected can be returned without reference to the company name, a benchmark code is used to provide traceability.
The use of the tool is not confined to Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) activities. When you complete the training workshop and become an approved user of the tool, you will be free to use IHC as you see appropriate with your client companies on the basis that the data captured is returned for the tool development.
