Diaspora Business Academy for Young Entrepreneurs

European Association of Young Entrepreneurs (Y-EBA) in collaboration with the Moldovan Technology Transfer Network (MTTN), Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) and the National Platform of Women in Moldova (PNFM), on the period 29 - 30 November, 2018, within the Diaspora project "Diaspora Business Academy for Young Entrepreneurs" organized 2 events dedicated to Moldova's entrepreneurial sector representatives. The main goal of the project was to train and inform 30 young women entrepreneurs about financing opportunities, how to facilitate the development of a successful business by improving managerial skills and other topics and trends from the entrepreneurial world. 

On the first day, on November 29th, a seminar was held with the active involvement of a Belgian high-level diaspora representative who holds the position of President of the Women's Committee of the EU Young Entrepreneurs Organization - JEUNE (1 million 600,000 young entrepreneurs). Also, speakers at this seminar were representatives of successful business associations from Republic of Moldova.

During the second day, on November 30th, Vitalie Moraru, Representative of the Technology Transfer Network of Moldova, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network Moldova (EEN) Consortium, presented a comprehensive information about the services provided by the Enterprise Europe Network to eligible national beneficiaries.

In both days, State Delegates and Experts from Business Support Associations informed Moldovan business representatives about the possibilities of financing and facilitating the development of a successful business by improving managerial skills and other useful information for entrepreneurs.

At the closing ceremony of the "Diaspora Business Academy for Young Entrepreneurs" event, the participants received diplomas from the organizers. A congratulatory message was also held by the representatives of the Diaspora Relations Office of the State Chancellery, Victoria Comerzan and Violina Donu, mentioning that the Government encourages the citizens of the Republic of Moldova through the DEH program to return home to share the experience gained abroad.
