In the period of 25-26 February 2015, Tallinn University of Technology from Estonia in cooperation with Moldovan Technology Transfer Network will organize in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, the Train of Trainers Training Sessions”. The event will be organized in the framework of the Bilateral Technology Transfer Excellence for Moldova (BITTEM) project, financed by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The BITTEM project, which is a “good governance” project, is aiming at improving the coordination, information flow, transparency, and accountability of the technology transfer process between the most important Moldovan stakeholders and private enterprises, aiming at Public Private Partnerships through quality assurance and standardization.
The Trainer training will give a minimum of 10 trainees the skills and knowledge to become a local trainer. The Train the Trainer approach will be used to transfer training knowledge from the project team to selected internal trainers. As the result of these actions maximum 12 trainees will be trained to be local trainers in technology transfer. Being in line with the Republic of Moldova’s strategic efforts to integrate into European Research Area after the Association to Horizon 2020 and COSME, the training seminar will bring together to Chisinau 4 renowned trainers from Netherlands, Luxemburg, Romania and Ukraine which will share their knowledge, expertise and good practices in how to be a trainer with excellence in innovation and technology transfer. At the ToT sessions will be treated such themes as Business Plan Development, Finding Investors, Making proposals for funding, Assessment of Technology, and many other important aspects of how to stage local capacities in order to be an excellent trainer for all innovation demands creating opportunities for local business people and Academia.
