VIRTUAL MISSION Republic of Moldova & Romania is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and Moldovan Technology Transfer Network in collaboration with Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CCI Constanta (EEN Romania).

The program of the event includes:
- presentation of the impact of Covid-19 on the economies of Romania and the Republic of Moldova;
- business meetings by sectoral groups (agri-food, winemaking, textile).

Global trade is affected by many articulated factors. Due to the recent development of Covid-19 (corona virus) and the insecure situation at the moment around the world, many international events, missions and trade fairs had to be canceled, causing several negative consequences to all the SMEs involved in international trade.

Romania continued to strengthen its position as the largest trading partner of the Republic of Moldova. Trade between Romania and the Republic of Moldova in 2019 came to over US$2.2 billion. Romania’s exports totaled US$1.3 billion, while imports from Moldova added up to US$831.9 million.
